Another
highly desirable collectible is the picture disc. Most commercially available
picture discs are from England and are usually issued in limited numbers. Pat's
picture discs can be found in both the 7" and 12" formats as well as a
"shaped" disc. Most are readily available, but can be "pricey",
especially the 12" discs.
Perhaps one of the rarest Pat picture discs, is the striking 12" disc for Don't Walk Away. It is my understanding that it was withdrawn from release and most copies destroyed.
Related to picture discs are records pressed on colored vinyl, also usually released in limited numbers. A very nice example is the 12" pressing of Shadows of the Night on blue vinyl with large picture labels of Pat in "straight jacket" poses similiar to those from the Get Nervous album.
